KindBell

Terms of Use

What you're agreeing to

Effective 15 September 2026 · Last updated 15 September 2026

The short version.

KindBell helps you keep track of what you pay for and reminds you before each charge. It never signs in to, changes or cancels your subscriptions with anyone else — those stay between you and each service.

KindBell is free for up to three subscriptions. KindBell Pro is billed by Apple: monthly and annual plans renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple Account, and the lifetime purchase is paid once and never renews. The rest of this page is the same thing, in the detail terms need.

Who we are, and how these terms fit with Apple's

KindBell is made by Sharif. Where these terms say "we" or "us", they mean Sharif as the developer of KindBell. You can reach us at sharifally0903@gmail.com.

KindBell is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add what is specific to KindBell. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies. By downloading or using KindBell, you agree to both.

What KindBell is, and isn't

KindBell is a place to record the subscriptions you pay for, see what they add up to, and be reminded before they renew. Everything it knows comes from what you enter: it has no access to your bank, your cards, or your accounts with any service you track, and cannot see what you are actually charged.

Free, and KindBell Pro

KindBell is free for up to three subscriptions, with reminders included. KindBell Pro removes that limit and adds Insights — a breakdown of where the money goes — and the renewal calendar.

Pro is offered as a monthly plan, an annual plan, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in your own currency on the Pro screen in the app before you buy, and can differ between countries.

How Pro is billed

Payment
Apple takes every payment, charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. We never see your card or billing details.
Free trials
The monthly and annual plans may start with a free trial. Its length, and the price you'll pay once it ends, are shown on the Pro screen before you start it. When the trial ends, the plan you chose begins and Apple charges its price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Apple limits free trials to one per Apple Account.
Automatic renewal
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each period, and Apple charges your Apple Account for the next period within the 24 hours before it begins, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Cancelling
Cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → KindBell, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Pro stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Lifetime
A single payment that unlocks Pro on every device signed in to the Apple Account that bought it. It is not a subscription and never renews.
Switching plans
Moving between monthly and annual takes effect straight away, and Apple prorates the difference.
Price changes
If a plan's price changes, Apple tells you before the new price applies to you, and asks for your agreement to an increase where its rules require it. A change never affects a lifetime purchase you have already made.
Refunds
Refunds are Apple's to give, since Apple takes the payment. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Restoring
Purchases belong to your Apple Account, not to a device. On a new device, open the Pro screen and tap Restore purchases.

If Pro ends

Nothing you've added is deleted. Every subscription stays, can still be edited, and keeps its reminders. You won't be able to add more once you have three or more, and Insights and the renewal calendar lock again until Pro is active.

Reminders and conversions are aids, not guarantees

Reminders are scheduled by iOS on your device from the dates you enter. Whether one arrives depends on things outside our control — notification permission, Focus and other iOS settings, the device being on, and the date being right. Please don't rely on KindBell as your only record of when a charge is due.

When your subscriptions are in more than one currency, converted totals use published mid-market rates, refreshed daily where a connection allows. They are estimates and will not match what your bank charges after its own rate and fees.

Your data

What you enter is yours. It is stored on your device and in your own iCloud account, never on a KindBell server, and the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is stored and what leaves your device. Because we never hold a copy, we can't restore data for you: iCloud is your backup, and Settings → Export to CSV gives you a copy whenever you like.

Using KindBell fairly

KindBell is for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't try to get around the free limit or Pro without paying for it, interfere with the app's purchase checks, or use KindBell in a way that breaks the law. If you do, we may stop providing Pro to you. This doesn't limit anything the Standard EULA already says.

Changes to the app

KindBell will change as it improves — features get added, reworked, and occasionally removed. If a change materially affects what KindBell Pro includes, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.

No warranty, and limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, KindBell is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including a charge you weren't reminded about, a conversion that was off, or a decision made from a figure in the app. Where our liability can't be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for KindBell Pro in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live that can't be waived by agreement.

Apple

These terms are between you and Sharif, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for KindBell or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it — for anything about the app, contact us.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page changes with them, and the "last updated" date at the top moves. A change that materially affects your purchase or your rights will be announced in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use KindBell after that means you accept the updated terms.
